Who we are

ReadHire ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at readhire.me and its subdomains (e.g. apex.readhire.me). ReadHire is a curated job board for specialist technology roles.

What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — when you subscribe to job alerts or click apply on a job listing.
• Job click behaviour — which job listings you click apply on, and when.
• Job application history — which roles you express interest in via the apply flow.
• Cookie data — a functional cookie (rh_email) used to prefill your email on future visits.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, CV data, or any payment information. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.

How we use your data

• To send you curated job alert emails matching your subscribed vertical.
• To track which roles are popular and improve job ranking.
• To prefill your email address on future apply interactions.
• To maintain a record of which jobs you have expressed interest in.

Third parties we share data with

We use the following service providers who may process your data on our behalf:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored in their EU-based data centres.
• Adzuna — source of aggregated job listing data. We receive job data from them; we do not share your data with them.
• Vercel — hosting and edge network provider. Processes request logs.
• Resend / Brevo — transactional email provider used to deliver job alert emails.

Cookies

We set one functional cookie:

• rh_email — stores your email address locally so we can prefill it on future apply interactions. Expires after 365 days.
• rh_cookies_acknowledged — records that you have seen our cookie notice. Expires after 365 days.

We do not set advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To unsubscribe from job alerts, click the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. To request deletion of all your data, email us at privacy@readhire.me. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain email addresses and application records for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, we will anonymise your data within 90 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date. Continued use of ReadHire after changes constitutes acceptance.
